Barbie had a resurgence in brand love following Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster spectacular, and we were the ✨lucky crew✨ who pitched (and won!) to continue on the love fest and create the first global campaign post movie.
The movie taught us that Barbie is SO much more than just a doll. She represents courage, strength, curiosity, creativity and so much more for young girls and boys across the world. So we set out to show what it truly means to give a Barbie, redefining the doll into a symbol of what parents and adults hope to give the kids (and people) in their lives: the belief in their limitless possibilities. 💖
We created a unique visual language that was an ode to the parent’s camera role. An imaginative scrapbook for the modern era, with a dash of nostalgia and a whole lot of cuteness for ultimate feels 🥹
